Police searching for suspect in home invasion

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police are searching for a man who invaded a home on Saturday.

Officers responded to a home invasion robbery on Durrand Drive around 12:30 a.m.

The suspect approached a resident outside on the phone.

As the victim entered the home, the suspect pushed him inside shoving him to the floor with a handgun.

The suspect pointed the weapon at five additional victims in the home, ordered them to the ground, and demanded money.

According to the police report, the suspect hit a victim on the head with the gun.

The suspect got away with several hundred dollars in cash.

No arrests have been made at this time.
