Blues Hall of Fame unveils new hologram exhibit
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - As the City of Memphis gets ready to kick off the Blues Hall Of Fame Awards Season, the Hall of Fame has something new to show off to its guests.
Tuesday, it unveiled a first-in-the-state Tennessee Hologram!
The new hologram will offer a new kind of experience to immerse yourself in the different sounds of the blues. We asked blues futurist and Hall Of Fame inductee Taj Mahal what it was like to watch himself perform as a hologram:
“I’ve seen a little bit of the movement before, it’s pretty exciting,” Mahal said. “It’s nice to see that it’s one-on-one... they did a good job, really good.”
Mahal went on to say he’s excited to see something with a far-reaching effect right here at the Hall of Fame.
