2 juveniles charged after shooting in Senatobia, several others arrested for disorderly conduct

SENATOBIA, Miss. (WMC) - Senatobia Police Department arrested two juveniles after investigating a shooting on Monday.
According to Senatobia Police Department, officers caught one of the suspects and took him into custody in Como, Mississippi, on Tuesday around 6 p.m.
The other juvenile was arrested on Monday after officers responded to a shooting on East Gilmore Street around 3 p.m.
Officers spotted a suspect while they were on the scene. Police said the suspect began to run away and officers chased him. Police also said he was armed.
“As tends to happen in this neighborhood, when police take lawful action, a crowd began to gather and began to become unruly. A large crowd gathered and began to cause a disruption,” SPD stated.
Police say they gave adults and juveniles orders to clear the roadway where officers believed a crime scene to be located. However, several people were arrested due to non-compliance, said police.
One juvenile was arrested for trespassing. Two other juveniles were arrested for simple assault on a police officer. They are accused of punching an officer in the head multiple times. The two juveniles are also charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing public streets.
The mother of the juveniles was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
Also, the adult sibling of the two juveniles was arrested for disorderly conduct.
