Woman’s car stolen with dog inside at Fresh Market, police say
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Memphis woman is searching for her dog after her car was stolen with her beloved pet inside.
On May 2, officers responded to a car theft at the Fresh Market on Union Avenue.
When officers arrived, the victim informed them that she parked on the west side of the parking lot.
When she returned, she discovered broken glass on the ground, and her car was gone.
Her dog, Yoshi, is a German Shepherd-Husky mix and she is 15 years old.
Yoshi’s whereabouts are still unknown. Her owner is offering a $2,000 award for her safe return.
Anyone with information on Yoshi’s location is asked to call the Memphis Police Department at 901-545-COPS.
Yoshi has two distinct markings: a spotted left ear and a shaved spot on her right foreleg where had a recent IV.
