SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a man they say shot a victim multiple times.

On April 3, SCSO deputies responded to a man-down call on Jonesy Lane.

When deputies arrived, they discovered that the victim, Justin Walker, was unresponsive in a pool of blood.

Walker was rushed to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery but was later pronounced dead.

The suspect fired a total of 12 shots, hitting Walker nine times.

According to deputies, the suspect was later identified as Jordan Underwood, 24.

Underwood was taken into police custody and is now facing charges for first-degree murder, reckless endangerment, and drug charges for the dealing and selling of controlled substances.
