Woman accused of stealing over $600k from boss

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A woman is accused of stealing over $600,000 from her boss over two years.
Ivey Jennings, 36, is charged with theft of property.
Jennings is accused of using a woman’s First Horizon bank account and American Express credit cards, Chase credit card, and Citi credit card to buy items without her permission.
Jennings was the victim’s assistant.
According to the affidavit, Jennings charged the victim‘s credit cards $646,635 from December 2019 until November 2022.
Jennings is accused of using the First Horizon Bank account to buy a Lexus SUV worth $40,600 from Montgomery Auto Group. Records say she placed the car title under her business name Mimi Morton LLC.
She is also accused of spending $295,913 on credit to buy various items and spending $310,122 on Faire.
