New program helps entrepreneurs get ideas off the ground

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Despite the dreary statistic that 90 percent of startup businesses fail, it doesn’t stop a creative and determined entrepreneur.
In fact, just last year more than 5 million businesses were created in the U.S. alone.
Denise Quashie, Head of Global Startup Programs for Amazon Web Services, joined Action News 5′s Andrew Douglas on the digital desk to talk about a new program designed to support entrepreneurs early to help them succeed.
She also shared more about who should apply and the application process.
