New study examines correlation between statins and muscle pain

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Statins is often prescribed to doctors to help prevent major cardiovascular problems for those with high cholesterol.
Dr. Sushant Khaire, with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, joined Action News 5′s Andrew Douglas at the digital desk to take about who qualifies for statins and a new study examining the correlation of statins to muscle pain.
Dr. Khaire also shared some natural options that people can implement to help control their cholesterol levels.
