New campaign to help take a bite out of crime

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The U.S Bureau of Justice Assistance and National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) are launching a new campaign to prevent crime by improving community and police relations.

Paul Delponte, NCPC Executive Director, joined Action News 5′s Amanda Hanson at the digital desk to talk about the specifics of the program and how the campaign will include iconic figure McGruff the Crime Dog.
