One hit, killed while crossing street

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police responded to a fatal pedestrian crash on Hickory Hill Thursday evening.

Officers say the preliminary information shows that a man was hit and killed while he crossed the road outside of a crosswalk. The driver stayed on the scene until police arrived.

On 2/24 at 9:55 pm, officers responded to a fatal pedestrian crash in the 4200 block of Hickory Hill. The preliminary info indicates that the male pedestrian was struck as he crossed the roadway outside the crosswalk. The driver stayed on the scene
