3 dead, 1 injured in Memphis shooting; suspect turns himself in
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A suspect is in police custody after turning himself in in connection to a weekend shooting that left three people dead and one person injured.
Memphis police say the shooting happened at a rooming house on Dunn Avenue around 9 p.m. Sunday.
According to an affidavit, Jermel Keaton told investigators people in the house were threatening him and he “just lost it.”
Officers who arrived on the scene say two women and one man were pronounced dead and one other victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Keaton is charged with three counts of first-degree murder, criminal attempt first-degree murder and employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
