Multi-vehicle crash blocks lanes on I-55 southbound in Shelby County

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Lanes are blocked along Interstate 55 southbound in Shelby County Tuesday night following a vehicle accident.
A multi-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 8.4.
Two southbound right lanes and the right shoulder is currently blocked. Injuries have not been confirmed.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area until it’s cleared.
