MPD: Whitehaven shooting leaves man critically injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police say a man is fighting for his life in the hospital after being shot in Whitehaven Sunday.

The shooting happened in the 4300 block of Eastwind Drive around 12 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Regional One in critical condition, police said.

Officers are on the scene of a shooting in the 4300 blk of Eastwind. A male victim was located with gunshot wounds and was transported to ROH in critical condition. There is no suspect info at this point. Anyone w/ info should call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
