Driver crashes into pole after being shot, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - One person is dead after crashing their car prior to being shot, according to the Memphis Police Department.
The crash happened early Saturday morning around 5:40 a.m., at Perkins and Showcase.
According to MPD, the victim crashed a black Nissan Sentra into a pole after being shot.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, police say.
There is no suspect information at this time.
