State Rep. Mike Carter dies after battle with pancreatic cancer
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Tennessee State Representative and Republican lawmaker from Ooltewah, Mike Carter has died after battling pancreatic cancer.
Carter was 67 when he died, according to sources.
The announcement was made on his Twitter account Sunday morning.
“Mike lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer late last night, surrounded by his family. We’ll miss him very much. We appreciate your prayers during this difficult time,” the Twitter post states.
