A few lingering showers possible overnight
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -The severe weather threat has ended for the Mid-South but we could see a lingering shower or isolated storms in north Mississippi into the overnight hours. The pattern this week will be calmer but there will be daily rain chances through midweek.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a few lingering showers in north Mississippi overnight, lows will fall near 50.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower but most will stay dry. Highs in the upper 60s along with winds out of the north at 10-15 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower and lows near 50 and winds northeast at 5-10 mph.
THE RST OF THE WEEK: Tuesday will be cloudy with rain likely with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the lower 50s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain along with high temperatures in the upper 60s and overnight lows in the low to mid 50s. Thursday will be mostly sunny with afternoon highs near 70 and lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
NEXT WEEKEND: The weekend will feature partly cloudy skies on Saturday with highs near 80 and lows in the lower 60s. On Sunday highs will be near 80 under partly cloudy skies during the day but more clouds Sunday night with a slight chance of a shower.
