Section of McLean Blvd. in Memphis closed after sinkhole opens during construction work

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A section of McLean Boulevard in Memphis is closed Thursday afternoon.

A section of the road between Poplar Avenue and Overton Park is closed due to a sinkhole that opened while crews performed excavation work.

The street is expected to be open by Friday evening.
