MPD: Man found dead near roadway in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the 3100 block of Old Getwell Road around 7:20 am. Police found an unresponsive man near the roadway.

On 12/2 at 7:20 am, officers responded to a man down call at 3180 Old Getwell. Officers located an unresponsive male near the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect info is available. This is an ongoing homicide investigation.

MPD said he was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim has not been identified by MPD.
