WATCH: Smoke billowing from mulch fire north of downtown Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Thick smoke from a mulch fire is visible Tuesday afternoon across Memphis.

Authorities say it’s a large mulch fire north of Dewitt Spain Airport on Klinke Avenue.

Black smoke could be seen billowing into the sky from WMC’s tower camera in downtown Memphis.

It’s not immediately clear if the smoke is affecting operations at the airport.
