Shaping up to be a great weekend weather-wise

Cloudy and foggy start to Saturday will give way to some sunshine this afternoon. Sunday will also be pleasant, with partly cloudy skies and warmer afternoon highs.

Clouds are still hanging out across the Mid-South this Saturday morning along with some patchy fog. Once the fog lifts this morning and clouds break this afternoon, we are looking at highs reaching into the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 5 to 10 mph today with mainly dry conditions. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with lows in the middle 60s along with south winds around 5 mph.

TODAY: Mostly to partly cloudy. Winds: Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Highs: Upper 70s to Lower 80s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Winds: South around 5 mph. Lows: Lower to middle 60s.

SUNDAY: Expect partly cloudy skies again for tomorrow with afternoon highs warming into the middle to lower 80s. A stray shower cannot be ruled out across North Mississippi during the day. Lows will dip into the lower 60s under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

NEXT WEEK: Monday is looking cloudy and rainy for much of the day, highs will warm only in the middle to lower 70s with overnight lows in the middle to lower 50s. Rainfall amounts for Monday will be between a half inch to an inch across the Mid-South. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs near 70 degrees in the afternoon and lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the middle 70s with overnight lows in the middle to lower 50s. Friday we will bee mostly sunny and cooler, with afternoon highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
