Shelby County corrections officer arrested after forcing her way into ex-boyfriend’s home

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A Shelby County corrections officer is behind bars after she forced her way into her ex-boyfriend’s home Monday.

Deputies say 28-year-old Jaleesa Robinson kicked in the back door of her ex-boyfriend’s home and forced her way inside and knocked over items in the kitchen.

Robinson said she did it because she knew someone was inside.

The victim said Robinson was trying to go further into the home as she yelled “where the b**** at” to reach a witness who was in the back of the home before he stopped her.

When deputies arrived he victim had Robinson in a two arm hold.

The witness said she heard a loud noise in the back of the house when she decided to call 911.

The victim received minor scratches.

Robinson is charged with aggravated robbery and domestic assault.
